Yangon Arrival – City Tour

Upon arrival, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to start to explore the city.

Continue travelling to the downtown to explore architectures of the colonial buildings in this historic former capital city. Specifically, the tour guide will explain the history of each structure and what they were used for.

Your next destination will be the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back from 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha. Today it becomes one of the most spectacular religious architecture in the world as well as a pride of Myanmar.

Afterward, we will take you back to your hotel in Yangon to relax.

Yangon – Fly to Bagan – Sightseeing

On this day, we will transfer to the airport for flight from Yangon to Bagan, an indispensable destination offered by any Myanmar travel agent. Then we will take a visit to the colourful Nyaung U Market where you can see the daily activities of people here.

After that, the full day is for exploring the most outstanding pagodas of Bagan such as Shwezigon Pagoda, Htilominlo Temple, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Ananda Temple, Thabinnyu Temple, Dhammayangyi Temple and Shwe Sandaw Pagoda, the highest pagoda in Bagan. Pay a visit to Myinkaba village to experience Myanmar’s unique handicraft – traditional lacquer-ware. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Bagan Sightseeing – Fly to Yangon

In the morning, at 08:30AM, we will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to start the adventure. Today, we make some stops to visit some famous monuments like visit other famous temples in Bagan such as Dhammayangyi Temple – the largest of all the temples in Bagan, the Dhammayan as it is popularly known was built during the reign of King Narathu.

Continue to visit Htilominlo Temple – three stories tall, with a height of 46 metres and built with red brick. It is also known for its elaborate plaster moldings. On the first floor of the temple, there are four Buddhas that face each direction.

Optional horse cart ride through the temples: USD 12 / cart (max 2 people)

Then, we will enjoy a visit to the simple Minnanthu village located near central Bagan where you have chance to meet open and friendly village people who live in typical houses. Their houses are built in traditional way of Myanmar countryside, with an outdoor living area for sitting, entertaining, working, and sleeping.

The life here is so peaceful that you can see the men and women in their work without complaint. This surely will be a memorable image for your journey.

Around village, if time allows, we can see some monuments which were built in the latter period such as Tayokepyay Temple, Laymyatnar Temple, Nandaminnya and Payathonzu temple.

Afterward, move to Nyaung U Airport for your flight to Yangon.

Upon arrival in Yangon, we will pick you up to transfer to your hotel.

Yangon Shopping & Departure

We continue heading to the Central Yangon Railway Station, where we will catch the circular train. During 28-mile transfer by the train, we will traverse through towns, suburban areas and 39 stations. Yangon circular train is the best local way to discover Yangon.

You will see a real cross-section of Yangon and the colorful urban lifestyle of the Burmese people in the area. Stop en route at Da Nyin Gone Station where we connect the trip to a lively local market. We have around 45 minutes strolling around this place as well as meeting and observing the authentic life in Yangon.

Then, we take a walk around the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scotts Market) – located in the heart of city. The Bogyoke Aung San Market is the most popular market and a great tourist destination in Yangon. It is one of the precious colonial buildings you can find in this city.
