Day01

Yangon Arrival - Sightseeing - Night Bus to Bagan

Upon arrival, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to start to explore the city.

Continue travelling to the downtown to explore architectures of the colonial buildings in this historic former capital city. Specifically, the tour guide will explain the history of each structure and what they were used for.

Your next destination will be the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back from 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha. Today it becomes one of the most spectacular religious architecture in the world as well as a pride of Myanmar.

In the evening, move to a local restaurant or Chinatown for your dinner (at your own expenses) before transferring to the highway bus station for the night bus to Bagan.

Day02

Bagan Arrival - Sightseeing

At 6 AM, upon arrival in Bagan, our guide and driver will pick you up at the bus station to start to visit the bustling Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan.

Afterward, explore the beauty and gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and furthermore, learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions.

Then, you visit Ananda Temple, stop along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. The temple layout is in a cruciform with several terraces leading to a small pagoda at the top covered by an umbrella known as hti, which is the name of the umbrella or top ornament found in almost all pagodas in Myanmar.

Afterwards, visit Manuha Temple is one of the oldest temples in Bagan. This temple is built in 1067 by captive Mon King Manuha in 1067, according to King Manuha’s inscriptions. It is a rectangular building of two storeys. The building contains three images of seated Buddhas and an image of Buddha entering Nirvana.

End of the day, we visit the second highest pagoda of Bagan, the Shwesandaw Pagoda. The pagoda contains a series of five terraces, topped with a cylindrical stupa, which has a bejeweled umbrella.

Afterward transfer back to your hotel to relax.

Day03

Bagan Sightseeing - Night Bus to Yangon (B)

In the morning, around 08:30AM, we will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to start the adventure. Today, we make some stops to visit some famous monuments like visit other famous temples in Bagan such as Dhammayangyi Temple – the largest of all the temples in Bagan, the Dhammayan as it is popularly known was built during the reign of King Narathu.

Continue to visit Htilominlo Temple – three stories tall, with a height of 46 metres and built with red brick. It is also known for its elaborate plaster moldings. On the first floor of the temple, there are four Buddhas that face each direction.

Optional horse cart ride through the temples: USD 15 / cart (max 2 people)

Then, we will enjoy a visit to the simple Minnanthu village located near central Bagan where you have chance to meet open and friendly village people who live in typical houses. Their houses are built in traditional way of Myanmar countryside, with an outdoor living area for sitting, entertaining, working, and sleeping.

The life here is so peaceful that you can see the men and women in their work without complaint. This surely will be a memorable image for your journey.

Around village, we can see some monuments which were built in the latter period such as Tayokepyay Temple, Laymyatnar Temple, Nandaminnya and Payathonzu temple.

Then make a small trip around the town and enjoy dinner (at your own expenses) before transferring to the bus station for the night bus to Yangon.

Day04

Yangon Departure

Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the airport and start the last day in Myanmar in Yangon downtown

This day, we take a walk around the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scotts Market) – located in the heart of city. The Bogyoke Aung San Market is the most popular market and a great tourist destination in Yangon. It is one of the precious colonial buildings you can find in this city.

Afterward, we will take you to the Yangon Airport for your departure flight.

Note: The above itinerary is only possible if your departure flight time is not earlier than 1:00 PM.

There will be surcharge if your flight is later than 5:00 PM.
