You will take a flight at Yangon international airport and landed at the Thandwe airport. There are 8 local airlines operate daily flights between these 2 destinations such as Myanmar National Airlines, Yangon Airways and Air KBZ with the price of around 111 USD for 55 minutes to 2 hours fly.

May the expensive airfare prevent tourists from travelling by plane in Myanmar. Bus, on the other hand, is the most common choice of locals and most tourists. With the cost of only 15 – 18 USD for an air – con bus ride, is more economical than airplane. There are 2 companies provide this bus trip: Ye Aung Lan and Aung Thitsar running from Yangon daily.

Hence, the down sides of this transportation means are the long distance trip taking about 14 – 16 hours and not comfortable due to the bad condition of the roads in Burma. If you choose this way to travel from Yangon to Ngapali beach, remember to bring warm clothes as it gets cold overnight.

      You could buy the ticket with us or directly at the bus station.

      The bus from Yangon will travel on 16 hours with the timetable as below.

      07.00 –> 23.00
      16.30 –> 08.30 next day
      17.30 –> 09.00 next day

    We’re 2 adults from Vietnam. We have a trip around Myanmar that we’ll fly to Yangoon on Oct. 10th and from Thandwe on 19th. We’ve booked all tickets and hotels eccept the bus tickets for routes from Amazing Chaung Tha Resort, Chaung Tha Beach on Oct. 15th Afternoon to get to Ngapali Paradise Hotel, Ngapali Beach on Oct. 16th.
